I am the founder of Love Your Labor doula services and a DONA certified doula. Being a doula is my JOB and my JOY! My hope is that I may bring a calming and encouraging presence to your birthing experience.

What a blessing and a joy it is to be a mother.  I have found that labor doesn’t end when the babe emerges from the birth canal. Truly, motherhood is a lifelong labor, but one we are called to LOVE.  The births of my boys were life-defining events for my husband and me. As a mother, I understand the desire for care and protection during the intimacy of birth, for someone to mother the Mother.

I have attended hospital and home births, worked with OBs and midwives. I have cared for laboring women from New York to Tennessee.

Through education, birth preparation and with the loving support of a trained doula, you can feel confident in your choices during your labor.
